Unlocking request[[edit source]]

In June 2017, User:CzechOut deleted and locked Campaign (novel), saying that it should never be recreated. It's absolutely true that no page should be created for the fan-published novel; however, I think it wouldn't be at all out-of-line to create a page for the original pitch, with Template:Unprod template and in Category:Unproduced Doctor Who novels, analogous to pages we have for other rejected stories like The Krikkitmen, The Castle of Doom, Doctor Who and the Brain-Dead, The Killing Stone, etc. Would that be in violation of the rules? – N8 14:21, June 5, 2018 (UTC)

Nah, this makes sense as far as I can see. I mean, The Killing Stone, in particular, was created after there was a whole thread in the old Forums that established we didn't cover the unlicensed released version, which eems like pretty close precedent. An {{unprod}} story is an {{unprod}} story. Might as well delete The Masters of Luxor because there was a famous fanfilm "remake" of it. Scrooge MacDuck 17:47, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
