Frank Cox (28 May 1940[1]-27 April 2021[2]) directed the Doctor Who stories The Edge of Destruction (episode two only) and The Sensorites (episodes five and six only).

He was also interviewed on the documentaries Over the Edge and Inside the Spaceship, as well contributing the audio commentary for The Sensorites' DVD release.
