Knight has previously appeared in the film Jurassic Park and the TV series 3rd Rock from the Sun, but is perhaps best known for playing Newman, Jerry's obnoxious postal carrier neighbour, on Seinfeld.
He was the subject of a death hoax in 2014.[2]
