Norman Stanley (1916-1973[1]) played the Master, disguised as a telephone mechanic, in the Doctor Who television story Terror of the Autons. This was the first and only time that one of the Master's disguises had involved employing another actor.
Stanley's other credits included roles on The Plane Makers and Z-Cars. He also had a role in the film Carry On Cowboy.
