Hazel Burrows played Liz Shaw in the 2015 BBV Productions P.R.O.B.E. video When to Die, taking up the role previously played by Caroline John. She was chosen especially due to her likeness to Caroline John. She also voiced Box. She would later briefly reprise her version of Liz in the 2021 P.R.O.B.E. Case Files short First Entry.

Though primarily a stage actor, she was a Membership Development Officer of the Maskers Theatre in Southampton,[1] she also appeared in another BBV Productions film, Sunrise: Love Again, which had no narrative or legal ties to the DWU. Prior to working for BBV, Burrows appears to have known Bill Baggs as a fellow stage actor due to his performance in Sitting Pretty, in a production she herself directed.[2]
