From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Welcome to the Tardis:About Valeyard12.5

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:
~ ~ ~ ~

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Doug86 22:05, September 2, 2015 (UTC)

Edits[[edit source]]

Hi! I had to clean up some of your edits, so I would appreciate it if you would take a look at the following policies:

In addition, please note that we do not allow speculation on any of our articles. Thanks! Shambala108 01:04, September 8, 2015 (UTC)

Blocked[[edit source]]

Hi User:Shambala108 . Just want to apologise for lowering myself to petty insults on edit pages. Just found a particular edit childish. Won't happen again User:Valeyard12.5 Valeyard12.5 12:27, May 8, 2018 (UTC)

Red links[[edit source]]

Hey, I just wanted to make you aware of T:RED, our policy on red links. I'm no admin, I just wanted you to be aware that on this site it's a big no-no to remove red links for any reason such as that they are "pointless" or "mundane," as you described on your edit history on Knock Knock (TV story). OS25 (Talk) 19:13, May 15, 2017 (UTC)

IPad[[edit source]]

Hi, I don't know if your Ipad is anything like mine, but just in case, I'll tell you how to make links while using it.

Your keyboard should have a button that gives you numbers and basic punctuation (lower left on my Ipad). If you press that button, then you'll see (hopefully on the lower left) a new button with symbols (I believe they are something like +,=, etc). That button will get you to another keyboard with other symbols, including "[", "]", and "~". Hope this helps. Shambala108 20:42, October 4, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism[[edit source]]

Ah, thanks for warning me. Should be fixed now. Scrooge MacDuck 21:44, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Re:fanon[[edit source]]

Thanks for letting me know! I've undone the edits, and left them a message on their talk page. In name of good faith, I've not blocked them, as they're a new user. However, if you notice further instances of them adding fanon to pages, please do contact me (or another admin). ;) OncomingStorm12th 22:20, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Re:The Woman who Fell to Earth[[edit source]]

Wow, there was a lof of vandalism there. Thanks for letting me know (and, on the occasions I didn't reply to your warnings of vandalism, it wasn't because I ignored you, it was just bc other admin got to it first ;p. I do appreciate those).

Now, a helpfull tip for when you see cross-edits vandalism like this: you can ignore the edit conflict warning. That's what I did, in fact, to make sure there was no leftovers. I went to the edit history of the page, selected the revision imediately before the vandalisms started, hit "edit" and just published that revision again.

You're right that it'll give us a warning that "we're editing an out-of-date revision of the page", but that's precisely what we want in cases of vandalism. So, don't fear ignoring this warning in the future, in case you're dealing with a vandelised page. OncomingStorm12th 15:46, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

For(u)m Letter[[edit source]]

Hey there, I hope your Halloween was decent. As you might know, we've not had forums for over two years at this point. A few of the regular editors have been having a discussion on this topic at Forum talk:Index and we'd like the input of other prominent editors if you have the inclination. Cheers. Curator[[edit source]]

I am not trying vandalise the curator page, it is just the only place where death comes to time fits into the doctor's timeline considering the curator takes the form of his previous incarnations and is a old incarnation of the doctor. Tellymustard 16:36, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
