Reverend Shaw was a resident of Medderton.
On 21 November 1967, he found a piece of paper left on a chest tomb in churchyard that said "Leave Now". Knowing it was left by Mrs Hayward, Reverend accused her of deliberately scaring people, but she insisted that he counted gravestones. Reverend Shaw found out there was one extra tombstone, turning out to be a Weeping Angel. The Angel took Reverend back in time, leaving his glasses and clipboard falling on the ground.
