A shoe, (WC: 14682 UNIT Field Log) correctly (WC: 14684 UNIT Field Log) claimed by Doctor Evelyn Yates to be "clearly one of his shoes", although still referred to by Doctor Errol Courtney as a "mysterious item", was found to have travelled through the Time Fracture on 18 August 2020, the 14682nd day of the UNIT Black Site observing the Time Fracture, 30 minutes before beginning the recording of a field log during a 'huge spike of chronon and artron energy'. Doctor Courtney claimed that the item would be thoroughly tested by their scientific team, which he described as a 'slow process', due to cutbacks causing them to be 'woefully understaffed'. (WC: 14682 UNIT Field Log) A message later came through on a private channel with the Doctor, asking "Did you get my shoes?", (WC: 14684 UNIT Field Log) as another shoe had come through the fracture the day before.
