Justician prison shuttles were space shuttles used for detaining and transporting prisoners between the six planets of the Justicia prison system. They resembled silver helicopters with swirling blue vortexes instead of propellers, and contained dark, pressured holding cells to transport prisoners. Rose Tyler guessed there were at least 100 seats in these holding cells. When ready, the prisoners move to another room to be scanned, and could be knocked unconscious by gas if they were uncooperative.

In 2501, the Ninth Doctor and Rose were arrested for trespass on Justice Alpha and escorted into separate prison shuttles. Rose went to Justice Beta, where she was later set to be transported to Justice Prime before her shuttle crash-landed on Justice Delta. Later, the Doctor stole a shuttle to take himself, Rose, and the inmates of Detention Centre 6 from Justice Delta back to Justice Alpha, so that he could return to his TARDIS. After this, the Doctor decided that the other inmates should keep the stolen shuttle and use it to leave the Justicia system and begin new lives. (PROSE: The Monsters Inside)
