Not clear that the Frimbly robot dog and the Kept Safe and Sound robot dog are the same unit even if we recognise the carryover of the T:HOMEWORLD concept. This should be split. Also, both are mainly/exclusively referred to as "robot dog", so why the dab anyway?
These problems might be so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Talk about it here or check the revision history or Manual of Style for more information.
- You may be looking for the concept of a robot dog or K9.
An unidentified model of K9, who was often more bluntly referred to as the "robot dog", was the model of K9 that was owned by the actor Tom Baker, until he was eventually broken down for parts, though his brain was saved by a boy called Jack.

Fate[[edit] | [edit source]]
Sometime in the mid 1980s, the robot dog ended up being broken down into scrap at a market stall. It had been sixteen years since the dog last spoke to anybody. Jack, who went to the market regularly to collect volumes of the Books of Mayhem, found the robot dog in a sorry state in the summertime, when he was thirteen. Over the next few weeks, Jack and the dog became friends, but every time Jack visited the dog, he was losing more and more parts, until one day, Jack was horrified to discover that the robot dog had been dismantled so much, only his brain remained. Jack took the brain, and upon the dog's instruction, downloaded the robot dog's memory onto CDs before the brain deteriorated.
