Rodrick played The Weakest Link alongside Rose Tyler on the Game Station in 200100.

Initially helpful to Rose, Rodrick thought she was stupid because she had little general knowledge of the current time period. He strategically voted off Colleen, Agorax, and Fitch, so as to go head to head with Rose and easily defeat her. Rose scored four wrong answers and Rodrick three, and he won 1,600 credits. (TV: Bad Wolf)

Following the chaos caused by Jack Harkness and the Ninth Doctor's invasion of The Weakest Link, he retreated to Floor 000 of the Station. Rodrick whined about the prize money he still expected. He refused to take arms against the Daleks in advance of their invasion of the space station, saying that he believed that they no longer existed and that they disappeared thousands of years prior. Rodrick encouraged others on the station to do nothing until the Daleks invaded the station, descended to Floor 000 and massacred everyone there. Before being killed, Rodrick could be heard shrieking, "You can't! You don't exist! It's not fair! I won the game! I should be rich! I'm a winner! You can't do this to me!" (TV: The Parting of the Ways)
