Welcome to Torchwood was the first episode of Torchwood Declassified. It aired alone on 19 October 2006. It gave viewers an idea of what to expect from Torchwood, also previewing the new series' first episode, Everything Changes, which then aired three days later.

A large amount of footage in this episode was re-used from the Doctor Who Confidential episode of the same name.

There were two edits of this episode - a 10 minute TV version and a 15 minute DVD version.
