Night Terrors was a short story published on 13 October 2011 in The Brilliant Book 2012. It was written by David Bailey and illustrated by Lee Johnson, and, as the tenth mini-novelisation in The Brilliant Book 2012, it adapted of the television story of the same.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
George, a young little boy who lives in the Rowbarton Estate, is afraid of everything — and it's taking a toll on his parents, Alex and Claire. The Eleventh Doctor hears George's cry for help, and he and Amy and Rory investigates, but strange things begin to happen; clothes begin to come to life, people get sucked into piles of bin bags, and Amy and Roy get trapped inside an abandoned house. George, who is not an ordinary boy, traps whatever frightens him in his wardrobe, where the monsters live. His parents don't remember his pregnancy and birth, and reality begins to warp. The answers? They are in the cupboard.
