Matthew Nicolson was a senior programmer with the British Rocket Group's UK Rocket Project 9.2, the space probe Guinevere One. He was best friends with Portuguese technician Duerte Rodriguez, in large part because Duerte was not hesitant to make jokes about Matthew's wheelchair.
