Terror in the Taj Mahal was a Doctor Who Adventures comic story featuring the Eleventh Doctor and Decky Flamboon.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

A replica Taj Mahal on the hollow moon of Artenture is being primed by the Doctor's enemies the Propheetis, for an invasion of Earth!

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

On the Hollow Moon of Artenture, the Doctor takes Decky Flamboon to another replica of a famous Earth landmark, this time the Taj Mahal. Once again the Doctor is able to find some more of the coordinates that will help him get Decky home. But they soon discover the Propheetis (an army of soldiers that kept rebuilding themselves with robot parts) have been using the landmark as a base. The Propheetis have been adapting the Taj Mahal into a giant weapon — their greatest yet! They intend to replace their Taj Mahal with the real one on Earth to be activated when they are ready for their invasion of the planet. But, telling Decky to run, the Doctor activates all the weapons with a wave of his sonic screwdriver. Racing back to the TARDIS, they watch the replica Taj Mahal empty all its missiles from the towers. One of the missiles shoots past and knocks out the Propheetis who is waiting at the TARDIS door to stop the Doctor. Decky realises that his mission has changed: he's now more concerned with stopping the bad Brancheerian from selling replicas landmarks for evil plans than he is finding a way home.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Propheetis is one of the few recurring enemies of the Doctor in the DWA comic stories, having appeared before in New and Improved.
  • Although the adventure occurs on the "Hollow Moon of Artenture", all the action takes place on the surface.
