Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Fireball XL5 content in the issue with a smaller piece tying-in to the Thunderbirds comic story Solar Danger [+]Loading...["Solar Danger (comic story)"], which was a crossover with the DWU.

- The Styracian invasion fleet reported on Monday that the WSP ship Fireball XL5, which is voluntarily attached to Styrax forces in a defensive war against the planet Volkanos, has proceeded into enemy orbit to act as an advance guard and range relay vessel.
- The latest report from Marshal Golgath indicates radio contact has been broken with XL5. This could mean that Colonel Zodiac has taken the ship down to the molten fire-and-lava surface. He and his colleagues are suspected to be in the gravest danger if this is true.
- Volkanos was previously thought to be uninhabited but is in fact home to a race of beings created from living fire.
