Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger was a fictional character.

In 1985, Peri Brown, in an attempt to persuade the Sixth Doctor to get the police after they had found Joe Payne's body in the London sewers, said that he didn't have to play the Lone Ranger, as they weren't on "some deserted planet in the middle of nowhere". On 31 December 1999, Salinger dressed in a Lone Ranger costume for Walker General Hospital's New Year's Eve fancy dress party. (PROSE: The Novel of the Film [+]Loading...["The Novel of the Film (novelisation)"])

In issue 286 of Doctor Who Adventures, in which each member of staff were listed in the credits alongside their "favourite cowboy", the Lone Ranger was listed as the favourite of production editor Liza Millett.
