Pudding Lane was a street (TV: The Visitation) in the City of London (PROSE: Matrix) where the Great Fire of London started on 2 September 1666. It was caused by the Terileptil base catching fire after a fight. Richard Mace was one of the people who helped fight the blaze. The fire proved helpful in the long run, wiping plague from the area. (TV: The Visitation)
A column commemorating the Great Fire of London was later erected close to the original site of Pudding Lane. (PROSE: Matrix [+]Loading...["Matrix (novel)"])
