In the timeline where the fairy circle holding Mad Jack was broken by the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, Marti Bridges was a volunteer for the Albion Party during the campaign for the 2046 general election, working on "Danny's team".
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
While Ruby Sunday was infiltrating the Albion Party, its leader Roger ap Gwilliam asked for Marti's name, which he remarked was a "boy's name" before approaching her and shaking her hand. Later, once Gwilliam had won the election, Ruby talked to a significantly more dishevelled Marti in the Albion Party campaign office, where Marti confided in her that Gwilliam was a "monster".
When Gwilliam was preparing for a speech at Cardiff City Stadium, Marti and Ruby were made aware that Gwilliam would receive the nuclear codes that Saturday; Marti was convinced that he would launch them. Ruby apologised for taking so long and said she wished she could have helped Marti, before stepping onto the grass and making use of a mysterious woman that had been semper distans from her to make Gwilliam run from the stadium. Marti was elated at the result, laughing with Ruby. (TV: 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (TV story)"])
Just before Ruby's death in 2091, she thought about Marti, who was the one person she always said she'd never forget. (PROSE: 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (novelisation)"])
