I don't understand the Daleks and Cybermen think all other races are inproper and must be destroyed or converted and they worked together with other species to stop the doctor, the cracks must have been very serious to make daleks and cybermen work together to save the universe--Jackr12 19:14, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
Though I can understand reasons why they wouldn't show up.
Mainly because they are sadists who probably wouldn't care less if the universe is destroyed.
In fact they were probably welcoming it because it would put them out of their misery.

Can we please keep all the members of the Alliance out of the infobox and instead on the article? The infobox stretches horribly if we listed every single race on there. The evil dude. 20:18, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Why would the Daleks and Cybermen want to prevent the destruction of [all] the Universe(s)? Isn't that their goal? Imprisoning the Doctor would then be counter-intuitive, unless its just because of a grudge.

While an undabbed name is often preferable to a dabbed one, the proposed new name, Alliance of Enemies, is not exactly that preferable in my opinion. Interestingly...edit source

I noticed that every famous Doctor Who villain was here... except for the Weeping Angels, one of the most popular monsters of late.

Though I can understand reasons why they wouldn't show up. Mainly because they are sadists who probably wouldn't care less if the universe is destroyed. In fact they were probably welcoming it because it would put them out of their misery.

And they don't have spaceships... But I'm pretty sure they have their own way of traveling through space.

2 Thingsedit source

Exactly where in the scene is the Weevil? I looked where other people say but it turned out to be the Hoix. You can see the cables in it's "armor." Also, am I the only one who noticed that the Sycorax DO physically appear? There's one in the VEERY back. On this page's image it can be seen in the top left. It's helmet is on.

Take a look at this screenshot (not done by me): http://dalektricity.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/silurians-and-weevils.jpg. The Weevils are definitely there.
As for the Sycorax, yes, you are correct. But note that they're already noted in the "Notable Members" section. (God, that's a lot of notes...)

Chronological Placement in Articlesedit source

Where exactly would the actions of the Alliance fit in the histories of species pages such as Dalek, Cyberman, Sontaran, etc? Does the Alliance count as an alternate timeline scenario, even though it was a part of the "prime" timeline before the Eleventh Doctor "rebooted" the universe in The Big Bang?Thalek Prime Overseer 10:52, 23 February 2021 (UTC)

Renameedit source

While an undabbed name is often preferable to a dabbed one, the proposed new name, Alliance of Enemies, is not exactly that preferable in my opinion. It feels like a "Brotherhood of Evil Mutants" situation where a group is given an "evil name", yet the actual members in it often believe they are in the right. I doubt most of the creatures in the Alliance would agree to being called "Enemies" in such a fashion.

I agree that the proposed name is not really suitable. It's far too vague. I think this is an occasion where a dab is necessary. At least people will know without a doubt which Alliance the page is about when searching. LauraBatham 11:09, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Coming back to this, Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe does not exactly specify the name's meaning but I believe it is open to interpretation that it could refer to factions that would have usually been hostile towards each other (Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, Draconians etc.) rather than assorted enemies of the Doctor. deffo change the nameedit source

i think we should deffo change the article name to Pandorica Alliance or something so ye The preceding unsigned comment was added by SJM-123 (talk • contribs) .

I don't mind the way this page is named, but if it were to be changed, I agree "The Pandorica Alliance" would work well. Fractal Doctor 18:18, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
