History[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Dragon of Jeneve served as their private key in their dual key system, enabling them to decrypt information sent by their cells to the main library system for cataloguing. Due to its importance, it was protected by the Dragon Knights and its appearance kept a secret from all others. During the Battle of Bocaro, Henri of Bosarno killed the Dragon Knights and stole the Dragon of Jeneve, but he died in Hugo Gamaliel's arms shortly after and was entombed with the statuette.
Uncertain of the fate of the Dragon of Jeneve, one of the Knights allowed himself to be captured by Gamaliel's forces and became librarian of his archives in the hope of locating it. However, he assumed that it was in the shape of a Western dragon like the Gamalian Dragon and neither he nor his descendants recognised the image of the more mammalian Dragon of Jeneve on Henri's tomb. In 2593, Bernice Summerfield mentioned the duality of dragons to Moxon Reddik, who finally realised that the Dragon of Jeneve was in the tomb and gave it to Nicholas Clyde.
Nicholas gave the Dragon of Jeneve to Benny for safekeeping and Irving Braxiatel finally returned it to Reddik following the deaths of Nicholas and Romolo Nusek. Reddik promised to return it to its true home. (PROSE: Dragons' Wrath [+]Loading...["Dragons' Wrath (novel)"]) A separate account of Benny's adventure involving the Gamalian Dragon made no reference to the Dragon of Jeneve. (AUDIO: Dragons' Wrath [+]Loading...["Dragons' Wrath (audio story)"])
