Kook was a crew member on the Seamancer under Captain Ketley. He, along with the rest of the crew, was accidentally transported to Surobos by the Doctor's TARDIS. He did not like the Tenth Doctor or Martha Jones, as he blamed the Doctor for the whole event. When he was sentenced to death, he made a deal with King Alalal that resulted in the battle against Kalis and the Surobans. Lord Alalal turned on Kook but the Doctor rescued him. Kook returned to Earth along with his captain and crew mates. (COMIC: Shipwreck!)
