Mr Redpath was the grandson of Mrs Peace. He went to view her body in Gabriel Sneed's funeral parlour on 24 December 1869. While he mourned her, the Gelth possessed her body. She began strangling him, then snapped his neck. The Gelth later possessed his dead body and used him for their purposes.
