Dr Skagra set up the project and paid "handsome fees" to A. St. John D. Caldera, A. S. T. Thira, G. V. Santori, L. D. Ia and R. F. Akrotiri to join him. Together, they created a sphere which could pool intellectual resources by electronic mind transference. However, Skagra stole the minds of the other scientists and left their mindless bodies there for some time.
