A jailer was in charge of the Conciergerie, where Susan Foreman, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright were imprisoned in Paris in July 1794.
He promised to make life easier for Barbara and Susan if they would be "friends" with him but was angered when they refused. He then put Susan and Barbara in his "special" cell. He reported on Ian and Webster's conversation to Lemaitre.
