Barry Jackson (29 March 1938-5 December 2013[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: as Ascaris in The Romans, Jeff Garvey in Galaxy 4 and Mission to the Unknown and the Second Drax in The Armageddon Factor.

He shared his memories of The Romans on the documentary What has "The Romans" ever done for us?.

Apart from Doctor Who, Jackson was known for his extensive television guest roles. Under the stage name Jack Barry, Jackson also worked as a stunt performer and fight arranger for the series Adam Adamant Lives!
