The Shadow was a spacecraft which resembled an Edwardian sailing yacht. It had an ion drive as well as sails that caught the solar winds. It was commanded by Captain Striker when his fellow Eternals and he took part in the race to win Enlightenment. It was crewed by humans taken from the Edwardian era, who were hypnotised to believe they were on a normal Earth sailing ship. The Fifth Doctor, Tegan Jovanka and Vislor Turlough landed in the ship's hold, after receiving a summons from the White Guardian. The ship was targeted by Captain Wrack. (TV: Enlightenment)
