Amanda Lawrence played Mother Doomfinger in the Doctor Who story The Shakespeare Code.
She also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who. Onstage, she acted alongside Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Russell Tovey, Susan Brown, and Andrew Garfield in the National Theatre's revival of Angels in America.
