M83, also known as the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy, was a galaxy located fifteen million light years from the planet Earth. It supported life. The Tenth Doctor pointed out that Eve would have to wipe out all life in the M83 galaxy before she would be close to wiping out all life in the universe. (PROSE: The Last Dodo)
