The Lovely Bones was a novel. There was a copy of the book at Jackie and Rose Tyler's flat. In 2005, the Ninth Doctor took a quick read through the book as he flipped the pages with his fingers, while searching for an Auton arm in her flat. The Doctor noted that it had a "sad ending." (TV: Rose)
