Captain Striker was an Eternal who participated in the race for Enlightenment. For the race, his ship, the Shadow, was modelled on an Edwardian sailing yacht.
Biography
Striker welcomed aboard the Fifth Doctor, Tegan and Turlough and he dined with them. Striker was fiercely competitive with fellow racer, Wrack. Wrack tried to destroy the Shadow with a powerful weapon but the Doctor disabled it and Wrack was sucked into the vacuum of space. (DW: Enlightenment)
