General Sanchez is a senior UNIT officer ranking above Colonel Mace. He is likely the overall head of UNIT, Mace is the head of the UK division. He is command of UNIT when the Daleks invade the Earth in 2009. He appointed Martha Jones Medical Director of Project Indigo, a teleportation system. When the Dalek's invaded UNIT's New York Base, Sanchez and another soldier guarded Martha as she escaped with Project Indigo. Sanchez was last seen firing a gun at a Dalek and he was exterminated offscreen.
