Talk:Sanchez

It's obvious from his ribbons and badges that he's a paratrooper, but I'm not sure just what all the ribbons are for. The colour on the images I have is a bit dark. What is a little odd, I reckon, is that he has what looks like a divisional sleeve patch, but he's of too high a rank. Corps commander level.

Anyway, he looks to have a couple of campaign medals from the Vietnam War, a Soldier's Medal, a Bronze Star, and a single Purple Heart. and the usual Good Conduct Medals. Also the Humanitarian Service Medal. I think all but the top row can be picked out. But the highest-res picture I can find is still a bit awkward.

  • I think the Ribbons and badges are just supposed to prepresent that he is a long serving soldier and head of UNIT and really unless there is some background story done on him it is unlikley that we will know for sure where he got them (even less likley seeing he was killed).Dark Lord Xander 00:19, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Commander of UNIT[[edit source]]

Did it actually say anywhere in the episode that he was the overall commander of UNIT? Mada101 12:32, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
