Richard Martin was an 19th century criminal, who with his daughter Lucy, successfully managed to swindle large amounts of money from British aristocrats, until they encountered Sebastian Grayle, who eventually killed him, in an alternative time line.
When this was corrected he was alive, but a being thought of him as a paradox and promptly killed him for his time energies. (BFA:Seasons Of Fear)
