This chamberlain served in Richard the Lionheart's court. He recognised the clothing worn by the First Doctor and Vicki as belonging to the palace. When he confronted the Doctor, the Doctor convinced him that Ben Daheer had bought the clothing from Thatcher, who had stolen it from the palace.
