The Shadow was a spacecraft resembling an Edwardian sailing yacht. It was commanded by Captain Striker when his fellow Eternals and he took part in the race to win Enlightenment. The Fifth Doctor, Tegan Jovanka and Vislor Turlough landed in the ship's hold and befriended the captain. The ship was targeted by Captain Wrack. (TV: Enlightenment)
Behind the scenes
- The Shadow was not named on-screen, only in the script.
- The ship was actually unnamed in the original scripts. The name Shadow was created to appear on the crew's jerseys and uniforms, as well as on the ship's lifebelts.
