Boar

Wild boar were a species that became extinct in England.

In the 1990s, - the Doctor put the date circa 1987 - a man in Kent was breeding continental boars. After a storm, a tree broke open their cage and they wandered onto the Doctor's land. He then taught them to talk. Brewster was a talking boar and he held the Doctor's story to be heresy as he considered the boar's reintroduction to be divine intervention.
