Reading posts on this forum in Forum:Doctor_Who_television_discontinuity_and_plot_holes, I do not see names and dates like I am affixing to this post, like I'm used to adding to various forums. I am wondering, are we not supposed to put them? Or are there specific parts where we shouldn't?

If they are allowed, would it be okay to go around using Template:Unsigned to fill in the missing names and dates, or would that be in bad taste? +Yc 06:47, September 26, 2012 (UTC)

Signatures are not used in the Discontinuity forum.
It is a place to state the issues of narrative discontinuity and to present fixes for these issues. It is a place for information rather than explicitly presenting a personal point or grievance.
The forum is an extension of the Production errors section on most TV story pages.
Please do not add signatures to these forums. --Tangerineduel / talk 07:19, September 26, 2012 (UTC)
