Kitty Kickshaw was a Broadway entertainer and male impersonator from Dixie in the 1900s. When Sebastian Marten "accidentally" dropped her name in 1920, Dr Merrivale Carr assumed that the society hostess, Glenda Neil, who was also present, was secretly Kitty, and that was why he and Paul Steiffers were later killed.
