Baldwin was a member of Sorenson's expedition to Zeta Minor in 37166. He and Sorenson discovered a rich vein of anti-matter and began collecting samples. When Braun reported that nightfall was coming. Baldwin left Sorenson and returned to base, where he was killed by an anti-matter creature, but not before activating a distress call.
