Peter Anderson Studio took over from BBC Wales Graphics as the provider of graphics for Doctor Who, beginning with series 7. Perhaps more significantly, though, they designed the title sequence which replaced the Framestore version, premiering on The Snowmen.
A highly prestigious studio, they had previously worked with Steven Moffat on the innovative title design for Sherlock. They also designed the opening titles for a wide range of 21st century UK television shows, including:
- The first HD EastEnders title sequence
- Moses Jones, with Matt Smith and Shaun Parkes
- Paradox, with Tamzin Outhwaite
- Death in Paradise, with Don Warrington
- Beaver Falls, guest-starring Anjli Mohindra
- Criminal Justice, with Bill Paterson
- Primeval, with Alexander Siddig
- Outcasts, featuring production design by Ed Thomas
The studio was credited on the following episodes:
- The Angels Take Manhattan
- Asylum of the Daleks
- The Bells of Saint John
- Cold War
- Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
- Hide
- Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
- The Name of the Doctor
- Nightmare in Silver
- The Power of Three
- The Rings of Akhaten
- The Snowmen
- The Time of the Doctor
- A Town Called Mercy
