Hila Tacorien was a human time traveller who was trapped in a pocket universe.
Within Normal Space, she manifested as the ghost that haunted the Caliburn House. According to Professor Alec Palmer, she was mentioned in local Saxon poetry, and parish folk tales.
In the 17th century, a local clergyman saw her, and wrote that her presence was accompanied by knocking that he compared to the Devil himself. During World War II, American airmen stationed at the House left "offerings of tin spam, and were not seen again until 1965, when they were found bricked up inside the servant's pantry, along with hundred of notes — appeals to the 'ghost'.
It was unknown why she was called 'the Witch of the Well', as no well was found on the property of the Caliburn House. (TV: Hide)
