- 29 - Charles II accepts the throne of England after the dissolution of the Commonwealth Republic. During Charles' reign the Doctor meets Dr. Pepys, prevents a group of Terileptils from exterminating humanity with augmented plague, and gets blamed for causing the Great Fire of London ("Planet of the Spiders," "Robot," "The Visitation," "The Republican's Story").
