The birth of Doctor Who was celebrated in many forms, throughout its many anniversaries. While the precise date of these anniversaries is mostly undefined, they are usually in intervals of ten years, sometimes five, after 1963, the year when many things leading up to the creation of Doctor Who, including the first broadcast of its very first episode, "An Unearthly Child" on 23 November 1963.
