Immortal Beloved was the fourth story, though fifth release part of Big Finish Productions' The New Eighth Doctor Adventures audio stories that were co-produced with BBC 7. This was the first audio story that Jake McGann (Paul McGann's son) appeared in.
Publisher's summary
'Theosophy? Ha! Surely you mean theophany? Because we're not talking about real gods here, are we? We're talking about the appearance of gods. Your heavenly powers are a little too mechanical for my liking. And, if I may be so bold, Lord Zeus, your demeanour is not very godlike.'

- Jake McGann (Ganymede) is the real life son of Paul McGann (The Doctor). After Patrick Troughton's son David Troughton and Peter Davison's daughter Georgia Moffett, he is the third child of one of the actors to play to Doctor to have appeared in Doctor Who. He would later play the Doctor's great-grandson Alex Campbell in AUDIO: An Unearthly Child, AUDIO: Relative Dimensions and AUDIO: Lucie Miller / To the Death.

Continuity
