- Each issue came with a DVD release covering two episodes.
- Reversible DVD sleeves enabled the collector to display one of two designs featuring either the Doctor and his enemies or his companions.
- "It feeds off time, by changing time, by making someone's life take a different turn."
- Visiting a fortune teller on the planet Shan Shen shows Donna what her life would have been like if she had never met the Doctor. In fact, a whole new parallel world emerges, a world that is falling apart after the death of the Doctor and numerous alien attacks! Can Donna reset reality?
- “We have waited long for this ultimate destiny! Now the Daleks are the Masters of Earth!"
- Hearing the words "Bad Wolf" again after all this time causes the Doctor to panic. Things get worse when he and Donna realise that Earth has been taken away from its rightful place in space and time. They will need all the help they can get if they're going to overcome whoever or whatever is responsible...
Notable Information
- Filmed but not included in the final edits of Journey's End was a scene where the Doctor leaves Rose Tyler, a bit of TARDIS so she could grow her own.
- The name Vespiform comes from the Italian and Latin word for wasp – ‘vespa’.
- Besides Genesis of the Daleks, Terry Nation also wrote two other Dalek origins; for TV Century 21 in 1965 they were the result of a scientist called Yarvelling’s experiment, and, in 1973 in the Radio Times he told how aliens from the planet Halldon had captured primitive humans and transplanted them to the planet Ameron where they became distorted and their evolution was accelerated to become Daleks.
- The TARDIS does not appear in Genesis of the Daleks or in Midnight.
