Clara's gran attended a family Christmas dinner in 2013 with Clara Oswald, her son Dave, and Linda. Despite her old age, she was interested in young men as she perked up upon seeing the Doctor naked and asked when they would play Twister.
She had a husband, but he had apparently passed away already. Dave asked her to tell how she had met him, but Clara's gran told a different story, about seeing him standing there and never wanting him to change. After this, she received a tearful hug from Clara. (TV: The Time of the Doctor)
