Strax Field Report was an umbrella title for a series of webcasts released by the BBC starting in 2013 that featured Dan Starkey's Strax sending reports back to Sontar.
The reports were delivered in character, with some relating to events of upcoming, or just-aired episodes. While some can be seen as in-universe, others are clearly about out-of-universe topics, such as the name of episodes and location filming, while others include archive footage from episodes, rendering them non-canon. The "field reports" were all delivered to the public on the web.
