Dan Starkey (born 27 September 1977[1]) played various Sontaran roles in televised Doctor Who, as well as for audio dramas and the Doctor Who video game The Gunpowder Plot. He has also played other non-Sontaran characters for audio and televised Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures. He also made a cameo appearance in part-Sontaran costume in The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot.

In 2015, Starkey co-wrote the audio story Terror of the Sontarans with John Dorney.

He was interviewed on the 35th edition of Big Finish's charitable podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round and editions of the documentary series Doctor Who Confidential.
