This Doctor met the Master on the planet Tersurus to announce his retirement from universe saving to settle down in domestic bliss with his companion Emma. He confronted the Masters various traps an then, after being captured by the Daleks, he warned him about the creatures plans to Exterminate him 'once his usefullness is at an end' via the language of Terseran, which they both knew.
